2. I wish i was told before i had my second child William, that there was a possibility that he may need to go into the special care nursey after birth.

   He was in special care for 5 weeks, it was the most traumatic time of my life.

   1. Oh Alana! I can not imagine the fear and confusion you would have faced. So many things we aren’t informed on prior to giving birth. Thank you for your honesty xx

3. Prepare for postpartum because the birth of a mother will likely be more intense than the birth of the baby.

      So many new beginnings as a mother you are never told about xx

4. I wish I had prepared less for the birth and more for how our lives would change after babe arrived. There are so many steep learning curves, particularly in those early days.
